Discover Dragon Eye Lake – Vietnam’s Hidden Paradise

In this adventure, we take you to the breathtaking Dragon Eye Lake (Hồ Mắt Rồng), one of Northern Vietnam’s most hidden natural wonders, located near Thung Nai, Hoa Binh. Separated from the Thung Nai River, this secluded lake offers crystal-clear waters surrounded by stunning mountains and lush greenery. Known for its mystical beauty, Dragon Eye Lake is a hidden gem that few have experienced.

One day. One private lake. Your swim, your distance.

We leave Hanoi at dawn, cruise the Da River by wooden boat, and hike the hidden trail to the lake. After a safety brief you choose your challenge—anywhere from 1 km to 5 km in open water with personal buoys, safety SUPs and STL coaches beside you. When the final stroke lands, we trek back to the boat for a hot Vietnamese lunch served on deck while we drift past limestone outcrops. A slow scenic cruise, a bus ride home, and you’re back in Hanoi by early evening—sun‑tired, fully fed, and carrying a medal that says you swam a lake most people have never heard of.
